If you are experiencing a difficult life change, struggling with shame, navigating grief, or battling anxiety and depression, I'm glad you're here. Finding someone who can bear witness to your story is a powerful first step in the healing process.
I became a counselor because I am passionate about helping people explore, understand, and embody their stories. My desire is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and secure and where we can invite the Lord to speak to us through His Word and by His Spirit.
After going through some painful life changes in my early 20s, I sought professional help through counseling. I learned so much through that time but never understood how to talk about my story as a whole and would often not discuss parts of it that felt unimportant to my primary reasons for seeking counseling.
Years later, I walked with a group of individuals through a curriculum specifically designed to help you tell and understand your story. I began to understand all the different themes that linked my past struggles to my present reality and how the lies I believed kept me bound in shame. I learned how to view my story, every part of it, in light of God's beautiful story of redemption for my life and everything began to change.
I am certified through the Association of Biblical Counselors and under the supervision of pastors and elders at Sola City Church, located in Gainesville, GA.
